Mastervolt 85000450 – IVET 4.5kW Isolation Transformer – Heavy-duty Marine E-core Unit
The Mastervolt IVET 4.5kW Isolation Transformer (part number 85000450) provides safe and reliable galvanic isolation between vessel electrical systems and shore power. Engineered without a casing for self-installation, this high-output transformer is part of Mastervolt’s IVET Heavy-duty Series, intended for use in robust marine environments where power integrity and corrosion protection are essential.
This model features a multi-tap configuration, allowing input and output voltages of 120 V, 230 V, or 240 V, making it adaptable to various shore power grids. Its design minimizes noise and vibration while ensuring full electrical separation between AC ground and onboard systems.
To enhance performance and protect fuses during startup, Mastervolt recommends pairing the IVET transformer with an optional Soft Start module (available separately), which suppresses inrush current.
