6’ HIGH-POWERED OPEN-ARRAY Radar
This open-array radar highlights moving targets in color and gives you excellent close- and long-range target detection — even in fog or rain.
Know what’s coming. MotionScope™ technology shows targets in color as they move toward you or away.
GMR Fantom brings the power. 50 watts of it, actually.
Get high resolution without wasting energy, thanks to pulse compression.
Add even more detail to your maps with radar overlay — even in a split-screen view.
See what’s coming.
HIGH-POWERED Radar
This 50-watt radar has a range from 20’ to 72 nautical miles, even in fog or rain. It offers rotation speeds of 24 RPM for reduced power consumption and 48 RPM for fast screen updates.
HIGH-RESOLUTION Radar
The 1.25-degree horizontal beamwidth provides a high-resolution image and high antenna gain to pick out even weak targets at a distance.
Motionscope Technology
MotionScope uses the Doppler effect to detect moving targets and highlight them in different colors so you can navigate around other boats or severe weather — or toward fishing spots where birds feed at the surface.
Intuitive Operation
This radar doesn’t have any complex user settings to deal with, so it’s easy to install and start using.
See incredible detail on the water.
Target Size
Adjust the size of objects on the radar image.
Auto Bird Gain
Locate flocks of birds at the water’s surface where baitfish are also likely to be found.
Echo Trails
A historical “trail” is left on the screen to help you quickly and easily identify moving targets and potential collision threats.
Dual Range
Single radar antenna is capable of providing split-screen images on your chartplotter for both close and long range.
DUAL-RADAR Support
Using dual radar provides redundancy and allows each display unit on the boat to pull data from one of two different radar sources.
Dynamic Auto Gain
Gain automatically adjusts levels to optimum settings for harbors, near shore and offshore in open waters.
Dynamic Sea Filter
Gain automatically adjusts sea clutter for calm, medium and rough sea conditions.
Radar Overlay
Overlay radar images onto your chartplotter’s map page. You can add an optional autopilot or heading sensor (sold separately) for best results.
Marpa Target Tracking
Mini-automatic radar plotting aid (MARPA) tracks up to 30 selected targets, helping you keep track of other vessels and avoid collisions.
Guard Zone
Set the safety zone, and receive an alarm when an object enters the zone.
Vrm and Ebl
Variable range markers (VRM) and electronic bearing lines (EBL) allow rapid measurements of distance and bearing to vessels and land.

FAQs
Apply marine sealant to the routing hole and connections to ensure a waterproof seal after cables are installed.
Always wear safety goggles, ear protection, and a dust mask when drilling, cutting, or sanding.
Other electronics and cables should be mounted more than 2 m (6.5 ft.) from the radar beam path.
Tighten the hex nuts to a torque of 14.7 N-m (11 lbf-ft.) to securely fasten the radar to the surface.
The radar must be mounted above head height and not closer to people than the minimum safe distance in the specifications.
A 15 A fuse in the radar power cable and a 30 A fuse between voltage converter and battery must both be in place.
A 3.31 mm² (12 AWG) copper wire is required for connecting the radar housing to the water ground.
Connect a 12 AWG (3.31 mm²) copper wire from the pedestal’s ground connector to a water ground location on the boat, not the battery’s negative terminal.
Mount the radar on a flat surface that is parallel to the vessel’s waterline; its vertical beam can be adjusted using shims for bow angles.
Avoid running cables parallel to radio antenna lines or power cables. If unavoidable, use metal conduit or EMI shielding.
No, cables should not be run near moving objects and high-heat sources or through doorways and bilges.
