Overview
600 W The B744VL is a TRIDUCER ® Multisensor featuring depth, speed, and temperature in a single housing.
The 50/200 kHz, dual-frequency, single, ceramic element provides great target detail in shallow water at 200 kHz and good deep-water bottom tracking at 50 kHz. The B744VL’s extended stem-length has the extra height needed for steep-deadrise vessels or thick, cored-fiberglass or wood hulls. The required High-performance Fairing gives excellent results at speeds up to 30 knots (34 MPH).

FAQs
What type of installation does the B744VL use?
It uses a thru-hull mounting style with the fairing.
How does the housing prevent water ingress during maintenance?
A patented valve assembly prevents water from rushing in when the insert is removed for cleaning or storage.
Is the transducer retractable for maintenance?
Yes, it is a retractable housing allowing insert removal.
What is the maximum hull deadrise supported with the fairing?
It is suitable for hull deadrise angles up to 24° when installed with the fairing.
Is the B744VL suitable for use with cored or thick hulls?
Yes, its extended stem-length allows mounting into thicker or high deadrise hulls.
What fishfinders is the B744VL compatible with?
It is ideal for all 600 W fishfinders, requiring only a single hole in the hull.
What is the speed operating range for the speed sensor?
The speed sensor operates from 1 knot to 45 knots (1 MPH to 52 MPH).
How is water prevented from entering when the insert is removed?
